It's beyond a joke now, why do people bother?

I use the google toolbar, decent but often closes required windows, or just allow pop-ups when required!

I second that, google seems the most effective for me, I've been using it for 12 months or so.

With the google toolbar, NIS 2004, Ad-aware and spybot churning away I never get pop-ups (except on pistonheads classifieds for some reason).

Privoxy although blocking ads can put you in violation of some web site TOS and result in a block/ban.

Hello

I use a mixture of Microsoft's Antispy and Yahoo toolbar. I hardly get any pop-ups these days.
