try pressing R1 when on the "resort" screen - it's a shortcut that takes you to the vehicles manufacturer - most likely in Japan.

No particular manufacturer for the Polyphony cars (that I can make out).

if you choose to use one in arcade mode you have to go to the Japan section - one of the manufacturers is listed as Polyphony - right at the very end.
