O.k. here is my problem. I have an Archos AV400 MP3/video recorder but the only video format it recognises is MPEG4, is there a way of converting MPEG3/ normal Windows media video files to this??

try cinemacraft encoder or TMpeg

I assume the same software we are using for use on the PSP will do the trick. So 3gp for example.
