pc memory
Hi all just a quick 1 for you bought some memory today and plugged in as it showed in the manual. It said to put double sided in slot 1 if the original memory was single sided. Any way did that and no joy it said that there was a problem and was shutting down. if i tried it the other way the pc just beeped.. not good sign so turned it off. now i am running the original memory and it seems ok. Can anybody help?

Then i bought some Vdata rem which the bloke said was ok.. Me thinks now it is a duff stick..
