is there any software to convert a windows media file to something that can be displayed on a mobile phone ?

What formats do modern phones play ? Mine (Motorola V620) seems to do MP4 but I don't know what else ?

If its avi, the best thing is Quicktime Pro, only £20 and its mint, outputs to everything, except wmv.

Think most video phones play .3gp, my nokia 6230 does. I use Xilsoft video converter which you should be able to find somewhere.

I got convertor software free with mine (Nokia) - it came on the CD....
