NTL Stupidity
As most of you are aware the generous people at NTL are upgrading your speeds at no extra cost and with this comes download limits.
However at the same time they are trying to plug broadband plus at £3.99 a month extra which offers streaming video, access to napster for music downloading, online gaming and many more bandwidth hogging features.
Doesnt this seem like a contridiction. Or are they hoping you will hit your d/l limit even quick and thus cashing in on the extra £3.99 a month that you are unable to use.
BTW Bulldog are currently offering a cheap 4meg unlimited.

Just sounds like normal marketing to me, (they all do it).
I've got the 3mb service, but to be honest in the 3-4 years I've had ntl bb, I've never exceeded the bandwidth limits. I use it a lot as well. Don't watch streaming movies though. Don't see the point when you look at the quality of them...
