Default Internet Express auto launch?

When i start up my computer it launches internet explorer, my mcafee stops it and the "cannot find server" screen comes on - how do i stop IE "auto launching"?

start/programmes/startup


there might be a shortcut in there that is firing it up

Start | Run type MSCONFIG into the box and hit enter. Take a look in 'Start Up', be carefull in there.

just tried that 1 JackClark but couldn't see anything amiss?

now when i let mcafee stop the connection i can't even close the IE page???
