Default New psu

Can anybody recomend a good psu? My graphics card needs a direct feed and is only 350w..

Quite often the cheaper the PSU is then the more damage it will do to your system if and when overloaded or a fault occurs. dont be tempted to buy those £15 versions that are available. Coolermaster rate highly in my opinion and there mid to high end PSU's are available with circuit protection to ensure you dont fry your motherboard and cpu.

Do a serach on the web for toms hardware guide and check out the latest ones on the market. All the info you will need should be available there.

On a bugdet, a 450W PSU can be had for about a tenner.

If you want quality, i'd recommend an Antec 480W truepower quiet PSU (circa £60)

I spent about £30 quid over at overclockers and have'nt regretted it.
