Classic road angel - updating
I've got a classic road angel with lifetime subscription
I've used the update software (version 1.7.1 UK) before and updated it before. I've recently re-formated my PC (XP OS) and i've had to re-install the software for it
I've got Pipex ADSL broadband which is permanently connected through an external binatone modem on USB.
Whenever i go to synchronise the RA it downloads the data from the RA no problem then proceeeds to update from the net
This is where it goes all pete tong. It will either open a dial up window, which i never use or says unable to connect to internet.
I've had this problem before and i did something in the internet settings but i can't remember what ?
Can anyone help ?
