Laptop Screen

just a quick q. when i unplug the power cable from my laptop the screen dims itself a bit, obviously to save battery. is there a way of turning this function off in order to keep a bright screen all the time ?

There should be an option in power saving mode that allows you to change screen brightness. Should be under control panel power saving
