Question Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Anyone else trying out the Beta version?

What do you reckon to it?

I think its very good, probably one of the better ones purely on the basis you have got a team that have the best technical knowledge of the OS it runs on!

I used it and it shifted loads of stuff which Norton, Spybot and Adaware all missed - including some annoying pop-up windows..........

I rate it highly, gets rid of stuff that adaware doesn't even find.

Hello

I've been using it for a while and it's really good. Seems to remove most things and just sits there working away in the background.

It's very good - only Spy Sweeper is as effective. You can get that on a free trial, but then you pay for it. On that basis, the Microsoft product is very good. Whilst it's true that they should know more about Windows than anyone else (although judging by some of the coding, you'd have to seriously question that), Microsoft's antispyware product is simply a rebranding of Giant - whom they bought.
