front page help, absolute positioning
Hi.
My website is made up in frontpage, I have positioned certain pics and links using the absolute position command.
It all looks fine on my computer at 1024*768, but when my mate looks at highrer resolution the pictures no longer line up as it all stretches out. How can I get the page to load up at a maximum size of 1024*768, regardless of the viewers resolution?
If you want to see what I mean, look here www.mrocarbonfibre.com
Any help much appreciated

Oo, have you tried resizing the window, on my Mac the cars and right images stay put but the borders and text move... Interesting...
Never had much experience with Frontpage, prefer to get under the bonnet and do it by hand... so to speak...
You are mixing divs and tables, without knowing how much FP is generating and how much you are doing its tricky. I would stick to tables for now, I know the Web Compliance police might have other ideas...
Could sort it out for some Honda bits...

Hi Rich.
Thanks for the reply. I think your right in that I need to size my window, just not sure how to do it. Thanks for your offer
If anyone else has any thoughts, then please let me know.
Idealy I just want to be able to add aline of HTML text and apply it to every page with the find/ replace function, to save me having to edit each page, as my other website www.mroscoobystyling.com is made in the same way, with the same problems!!
Thanks again, Rob.
