Win2000 Install and bl00dy SP's
Just spent the last 2 nights putting on a fresh install of Win 2000. It was an early edition so I've just spent the last two nights installing god knows how many 'critical updates' and reboots. I know some of the free computer discs have the SP's but do I need to go through every single one - isn't there a latest SP that does everything?
Last 2 fresh installs I've done after I logged onto Windows update and before I'd downloaded SP2 I'd picked up 2 viruses - even with McAfee and ZA installed. Obviously there's viruses searching for vulnerable PC's constantly..

You can "slipstream" a SP into a Windows 2000 CD image, then create a new install CD. Saves thumb twidling by having to install SP4 post set-up.
