Default iPAQ - Probs syncing over BT with XP-SP2???

Hi,

Since I've upgraded my PC to XP SP2 utilising the inbuilt Bluetooth manager I can no longer see an ActiveSync service when I browse Bluetooth services from my HP Ipaq (2210). Yes, I've installed active sync and tried the newer 3.8 version.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Check MS's website and their documentation for setting up Active Sync over BT connections seems straight forward but doesn't work. No suprise there then

For referrence I'm using an MSI BToes dongle using the right drivers off their site.

Comments appreciated.

Frank

Have you picked up the new MSI drivers for SP2?

I was having trouble getting my MSI dongle working until I found out that it needs different drivers under SP2.

yes mate, bluetooth drivers were installed as per the SP2 notice on the MSI site. Its bloomin annoying. The only service showing is the serial port on my PDA which is no use for Active Sync.
