I'm guessing a cross over network cable to connect them via the network port on both.
As for s/w don't you need to have a custom o/s on the xbox, and an ftp daemon running on either the xbox or windows system.
I'm sure someone will have all the details of what to download & from where.. sorry I can't be more help.

How does that work then ??
If the Xbox has a wireless bridge....... that connects to the router.... which in turn is directly linked to the t'internet....
for XBC (atleast) the xbox needs to be linked via the PC........
Is there a setting to allow the wireless bridge to limit the access to the t'internet and for the xbox to go via the PC (LAN i suupose) but how does THAT work ?

The XBox is on the same LAN as your PC. You run the Kai Engine on your PC which tunnels to the internet.
I use a Netgear wireless router on the PC and Netgear wireless bridge on my XBox.

that's about as far as i can get.............. think we need to read ALL the FAQ's !!
I have some reading ahead of me....
However, it does seem more 'difficult/involved' than setting up Xbox connect....(that was easy peasy)
are we missing some thing ?? LOL
