I've found bundled / cheap ones to be very poor for working with services like CLI.

ADSL Nation ones at £10 are worth every penny

they weren't in a bundle. they were 15 quid each. and the modem was 70 quid.

i don't have a land line and i have vodafone 3G, and the kit is 2 years old, hence, free.
