Default Anyone got an Archos video jukebox thing?

Just bought the big 80 gig version. Need to convert some DVDs to MP4 and the software supplied seems a right PITA on first inspection....

is there an easier way of doing it?

Have you thought about quicktime pro? it outputs to pretty much every video format, is only £26 and is very very good.

#1 DVD Ripper, download the latest DIVX S/W aswell. Then if need be run it through the supplied Archos s/w.

The supplied S/W doesn't allow for dvd ripping, or so I found. The other option is to plug the TV craddle in and play your dvd and record it.
