Ok quick question
We have just bought an X-Box off e-bay what do you actually need to get the thing online my 15 year old son whats to connect the thing up.
We have a 1mb broadband connection, we have a usb broadband modem we no longer use and i have a wireless router which i now use to connect my laptop via wireless and the 2 desktops which are wired so what for the x-box

Or if your on NTL I have instructions on how to connect you Xbox to live without having to register with their Live service how ever you will need a Xbox Live account

Ran a cat 5e cable in this morning and went out to buy the x-box live pack everywhere we tried sold out so unless you can sign up online for it somehow we'll have to wait

if you buy one of the new games you'll get a month starter I think. Then just buy the starter pack and enter the code for it for a further year's pack.

wev'e got Halo2, Fifa football 2005 and Project Gotham Racing 2 only bought them last week and none of them have the starter pack with them although they are in the promotion according to the x-box website...bugger

if you are that desperate to get online... i have a few 2 month trial offers. you can have one of them if ya like... I got the 12 month one, so won't be needing these...

Yeah the games we have are live enabled but we can't sign up without a promotion code i thought you could just sign up with your credit card and be done with it but it asks for a promotion code.
Legacy i'm not sure if that would work whether the code goes with a particular game etc but if youv'e got one you arn't using that would be cool

Don't they have a expiration date on the them in the small text on the voucher it's self ??, I cant check myself as I'm at work but I'm sure somebody could do

was busy as a busy thing over xmas but played a bit of Halo 2 ..... Getting a lot better now
I'll be up for a few games of Toca/PGR in about a weeks time when I get out of the jail cell I call work.
