Just got into CS Source but am dismayed to find some servers allowing things like auto snipe or auto aim whatever it is.

Currently using UK Training camp but wonder what other servers are recommended?

I don’t have source my self I play CZ. The server I play on rogue CS which is adminned and paid for by some members from here also have a Source server. IP 195.20.109.109:27015

Auto snipe which you mentioned is a Gun in the game can’t remember exact name but it’s a pain. On the rogue CZ server they have a rule that if you are on winning team you are not allowed to use AWP or auto snipe I believe but don’t quote me on this that the rule also applies on the source server.

There are currently no admin utils available to remove weapons ot customise the game outside the default options. There are a few plugins in development which will allow server admins to change - rather like the old Admin Mod

Hi me and AKGTT play CSS quite alot. any interested in joining a Clan or owt? quality game that it is

usually we just flick through all the servers and try to find 1 with a decent map and away we go, move on if theres any noticable cheaters about

Ive played on this a few times and although sometime slow as a 24man server its usually good. However more recently I seem to get kicked by console for no reason at all esp when on the winning team or killing the same person a few rounds in a row.

CS source is crap IMO, far too buggy I will switch to it eventually, but not for a long wile yet.

Lack of server mods, plug ins etc seriously putting me of. All iv heard is complaints about it crashing, cheats etc.

So for now im sticking with 1.6 & mainly CZ

PS P1fanatic is the reason for you being kicked because you have a high ping.

SDW, what sort of bugs been playing for a short while now and not noticed anything out of the ordinary, much prefer it over the CS1.6 each to their ownI suppose though

Sorry for my ignorence but what is auto-sniping?

I play quite a bit and am getting better with headshot aiming but there are so many annoying kids play on the public servers spraying obscene pictures/tags, arguing on the mics, talking sh!te cheating oh and then there's the most annoying thing Team Killing just before they leave

Auto sniping is where a CT uses kreig 500 commando or T used D3/AU-1 sniper rifle. Basically all you have to do is aim aprox where the enemy is and is aims for you apparently.

Some of the bugs are things such as bad FPS, but the main reason why I don’t want to play it is the fact there is no decent admin tools about.

When I play CZ im on the clan server which I belong, I have full admin and can kick or ban if need be anyone breaking the rules as chedder mentioned.

used to play old cs, was admin and member of hooligans clan, good eh :P

have now got cs source running, like what they have done with graphics etc, and the way they have got rid of shields.

dont like the way some people randomly start with an mp5 on first round.

hate autosnipe and awp, used to use the commands admin_llama and admin_slap quite a lot.

Interested in playing and killing some of you online :P

I generally play on dust and dust 2 rotation maps, the odd azzeh map the others dont really interest me.

Llama & slap are quite fun, especially for sorting out abusive players, I use them quite allot on our CZ server. But that’s the problem with source they are not yet available.

But since iv made this post I have been informed by my clan that we will be eventually switching to a CS source clan. Looks like il have to go out and buy HL2 to get some practice.

This'll sound bad, but our PC's at work will play CS source wheras my home PC can only just manage CZ

I've got both but how do I connect to a server that isn't listed and enter the IP address like some of you have given?

guessing go to favorites and click add server? then paste the IP etc into there? I guess that'll work, dont know for sure though

Hey Fitz, we'll be on UK Training Camp on and off all day today, I play as HOUSEQUAKE and me m8 plays as RADUGA. We'll give you a good knifing...well me m8 will as he's always getting asked if he wants to join a clan, I have good days and bad and seem to play better on some maps and sh1te on others.

Dave have you downloaded XFire yet? Would be good to have a blast.

We had our first PCw last night and altho we didnt win put up a brave fight still new to CCS so still learning the maps and stuff.

Apparently boffins are about to release a anti-cheat plugin for CCS...couldnt come sooner if u ask me.

We played last night and it was blatent when certain players could head phone from other side of map.....are well I suppose you get on on all games inevitable.

Back in the old skool days of CS the Arctic Warfare Magnum sniper rifle was called Arctic Warfare Police, hence AWP.

If Blkknights server isn't too busy tonight I may nip on for a blast after Desert Combat practice with our clan !

Ash, yeah got xfire running, cant remember you user name to sign u up as a friend, I remember toodle but then it was numbers following on from it more than happy to play as and when

fitz, any thats going, generally I do a search for all CSS servers then search by map and join something like de_dusk, de_dusk2 and italy..... play other maps 2 but them 3 are my fav..... if everyone wants to arrange a night they are free we can find an empty map and have a crack?

I have sooo not had the time to play CSS yet The last decent game I had was CS1.6 back in November!

no one is allowed to laugh at my cs name though :P it was donated from my brother, you can probably do a search for the name on css, flidboy :P not so much of a boy anymore unfortunately, was when i first started on online gaming,,,,,ahhh red alert online in dos mode
