GTA San Andreas - Faulty Disc
Just had to take my disc back to the shop. Been crashing since before Christmas but wanted to check it was the disc by running it on my Brother in Law's machine - still crashed
Took it back to the shop and got a replacement no problem. Fella said they had had quite a few like this.
So if it happens to you don't go taking your PS2 apart like I did to clean the lens.
But if you do want to take your PS2 apart there are 8 screws each under the square rubber or plastic thingies - NB this will be the end of your warranty though!

I had problem with Vice City which I bought from Cd-wow. I called them up and they sent me a new one in 2 days and a pre-paid envelope to send the old one back to them. Was well impressed considering how cheap most of their stuff is.
