Default What LCD/TV ??

I've just gone and bought the follwoing LCD tv :

http://www.hiwayhifi.com/site/produc...610&ref=kelkoo

seemed like a good spec........

It seemed resonable enough.... wanted it for the bedroom... Xbox...(mainly). and it also has a Pc connection.......

.......oh yeah.......... and for the wife to watch.... oops

Anyway..... it doesn't seem to be able to handle shadows/dark areas within a picture/program.......

I've/am trying various settings; contrast/brightness/ hue etc.... but it won't do it....

A program picture that is in daylight is a treat.!!!!!!! REALLY good colour/sharpness etc....... but when there's any darkness..... black screen..

peeeining me off now, coz I was gonna have a good session on PGR2.....

What do the experts say??

take it back and get a 'good one' ??

What LCD is a good one??

I've gone for a 23" as as soon as you jump to a 26" the wall brackets are £200 ish.....

Please help a guy in distressssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

cheers ta

phil

I've just purchased a LG 26" LCD for £799 from comet online, it seemed to get good write ups and I had a good play in the shop with excellent results.
Should be delivered next Saturday so will let you know how I get on.

Brackets can be bought from quite a few places and I have found a few for around £100 for large screens, see http://www.chaseavdirect.co.uk/acata...cket-Tilt.html for the one I will probably buy.

Cheers, Rob.
