Dual Boot - WinXP and WinXP ???
When I bought XP I set it up on my 2nd partition with WinME on the first as a dual boot system.
I have since taken the brave step of deleting WinME altogether and thought I would set up XP fresh on my C: drive with NTFS - do the job proper like!
Anyway... 'imagine my surprise' when I found I could no longer get hold of the dual boot option and can only boot into C: all my files are still there on D: and can be accessed, but it would be useful to still be able to boot into the old WinXP.
Is it possible?
Thanks
Mick

Can you not just edit boot.ini and add an extra line to it for the other operating system. Something like....
Code:
[operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
