Hosting
I need to create a small website (small new business). What should I expect to pay for hosting?
How does it all hang togther, I've bought a domain name, presumably I make the pages and get someone to host them linking them to the domain name?
Cheers,
Matt.

It depends on the expected size of the website & the expected amount of traffic. Also whether you want Front Page support, CGI, free BBS software, SQL etc.
A good reliable cheap hosting source is Virtual Names at £20 per year, including POP3 mailboxes, 50mb space, CGI, Frontpage, 2.5gb bandwidth per month.

Also you can host in the US for cheaper rates, look at Hostroute at $36 per year, including POP3, 20mb space, CGI, Frontpage, SSL, 2.0gb bandwidth.

Also in the US, C-4 at $60 per year, including POP3, 50mb space, CGI, Frontpage, ASP, SSL, 500mb bandwidth

I've no financial connections with any of the above apart from experience of being a customer.
