Default ebay computers.......

I need a new computer and have been checking out ebay, can good deals be found on there? I'm not computer minded so any advice would be a big help.
I dont need keyboard/screen etc - just the tower. Would only really need it for internet and playing average games - not halflife 2 or anything (although could upgrade to run this in the future when I have more cash) How much am I looking at?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, I've checked it out and (to me) the first offer 'famous brand i-media1400xp plus' for £169.00 looks idea, although I'm sure someone on here will tell me to steer clear.

I only need it for surfing (going to get braodband soon) and playing a few games.

IMHO ...I would personally steer clear of Ebay buying PC's

And look in the local paper etc.... unless you can go and pick up the base unit and see it running before hand

Avoid ebay m8. Ebay is only any good if your going for cheap parts for your own build and you know what your doing.

You'd be best going for a Dell base unit or somat. Ring and ask for a quote.

there are some very good Dell base unit's on ebay, choose a seller who has 100% + feedback and has sold PCs before, or try the HP shop on ebay for a "known" manufacturer.

regards,

greg
