Can anyone recommend a sub £100 MP3 player for my Mum! She wants something small and light, needs to hold around 10 CDs.

You'll get change off of £70 for a good 512MB MP3 player! This will hold around 8 full albums. More if you compress the audio a bit.

yeh I've done loads of searches, and as you say plenty of 512mb models around, but are they any good??

Any sites that do reviews? Most sites I found using google were more about pricing, found pcmag which tended to have reviews of the higher end stuff.

Do any cheaper models have anything like the iPOD smart scripting to create playlists, ie list all 80s music that I haven't listened to before?
