Question Trojan Horse problem (Veeval)????

Help please.

Running windows 98. Yes i know its old hat, but its less hassle and stable then the rest. Anyway thats bye the bye.

Have got Zone Alarm Firewall.

AVG Antivirus.

AntiVir 9X

And still got a bloody Trojan, its called Veeval. Have been on Symantec,s web site to download removal tool but carn,t see Veeval virus to even download something.

Everytime i run AVG it has started freezing when it gets to about 4000 files.

AntiVir 9x says theres nothing on pc. This Virus is apparently in program files but im fecked if i can find it.

I know my way around a pc on the basics, but any scoobynetters give me any help please, specialy if any IT guys are around. Since having this virus everytime i want a page up, it keeps asking me if i want to go online etc. Also i cannot run scandisk unless i run in Safemode. All this seems to have come since this feckin thing invaded my pc.

ANYONE HELP PLEASE ????

Steve.

Having good AV software is always handy - which you haven't got! Try the free online virus scan from Panda, on the lower left corner of: http://www.pandasoftware.co.uk/Then buy one of these: http://www.pandasoftware.co.uk/products/home_users.htm

Lol I had problems with Panda software! Kept tryting to update itself after I'd removed it. Still I guess it's not nearly as bad as AVG.
Personally I'd suggest buying McFee virus scan. It works.
