Any one got some good tutorials on nevigation etc

Started using it, bit of an eye opener using the terminal command line

welcome to a real OS

check out Sun's website. It's also worth checking out Linux + BSD websites as flavours of Unix are very similar, although they, of course, have their differences.

cheers dave i rememberd you telling me you play with solaris. Must admit i like it, i was even going to buy a sun machine till the bloke told me they come in a 2k a machine 16k for the software id want too

I have an old Solaris machine kicking around. It's probably not worth much. If you are interested, I can dig it out of the attic and find the specs?

You can pick up competent Sun hardware on eBay for reasonable prices, won't help with your 16k software costs though
