Question Can anyone help me eliminate duplicate files, please?

I seem to have loads of duplicate files on my computer. Can somebody suggest a programme to download to clear out the surplus. I don't mind at all paying for the programme but it really would need to be simple to use as computers are a bit of a mystery to me and I would be a bit worried about deleting things I shouldn't be deleting.
Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

What sort of files?

If its system files, then you are bound to have duplicates.. Leave them alone

I did a reinstall earlier this year and probably didn't do it correctly so I have loads of files like Nero etc and I was wondering if there was a programme which would identify all the duplicated material and automatically delete same.
