Any one got some good tutorials on nevigation etc

Started using it, bit of an eye opener using the terminal command line

welcome to a real OS :)

check out Sun's website. It's also worth checking out Linux + BSD websites as flavours of Unix are very similar, although they, of course, have their differences.

cheers dave i rememberd you telling me you play with solaris. Must admit i like it, i was even going to buy a sun machine till the bloke told me they come in a 2k a machine 16k for the software id want too

You can pick up competent Sun hardware on eBay for reasonable prices, won't help with your 16k software costs though :)
