Default Website hassles ( two directories will not delete)

Managed to upload a great heap of files to the wrong place, noted my mistake and set the delete in progress, everything within deleted fine exept two directories.
Gallery..
and within that
Setup..

Can I get these two to delete. NO
both File zilla and terrapin ftp come up with the same error message saying directory not empty.

Any ideas

Folder/s will be locked server side, you need to get your host to delete them.

Is it a unix host? Do you have telnet access?

is this just not a problem with the FTP clients? Most clients these days have an option, which by default, prevents you deleting non-empty directories.

Find the option in your FTP software and enable deletion of non-empty directories....it will be there somewhere...i think that should sort it..
