At home I have a BT Broadbnd Basic package that allows me 1GB per month.
I haven't opened an XBox live account yet as I don't know if 1 GB is sufficient for my emails, surfing and XBox.

Any ideas?

I would think you would be fine on Xbox live,emails and surfing.. Only time your going to notice that 1GB limitation is if you start downloading masses of data ( movies/mp3s etc etc )

Xbox live is what makes Halo2 so good....IMO

yeah cos by the sounds of it people have been finishing it quicker than the first one cos theyve taken away a good solid offline campaign & moved it to online multiplayer

still haven't had a match with the caln yet. I'm only trawling through team skirmish on my own.

What I did work out yesterday was that my chipped Xbox with my backup copy of the game on allows me to play system link with my other xbox . So I'm gonna have a lan party 4 v 4 upstairs/downstairs all I need is another 2 xboxs for 16

1Gb/ month is only 32mb a day average, when my Xbox was routed through the PC I would easily do 50mb in an evening on Live with a bit of surfing added. Can you not pay a small premium and increase to 2gb ? What are the consequences if you go over ?

pay an extra £ and you go upto 10GB I think ...... although they will not start to charge for over usage till next year
