Ok Mac Guru's I'm having a bad day here, brain is not on 12 cylinders as usual, so I need help.

Just used iTMS for the first time, have download my albums, and they are listed as Protected AAC Audio.

That's fine, they play.

So what is my problem?

I can't copy the new songs to my iPod.

WHY NOT?

Is it because the iPod is formatted as a PC iPod and I'm on a Mac? iTunes sees my ipod, plays music from it, I can copy any other non protected AAC file to it.

HELP!

Have you registered your iPod to that PC, I seem to recall something like that having to be done.

Don't think I specifically registered the iPod to the PC.

will check that though. Could be it needs to be authorized for the Mac.

OK, I'm a flid, a total and utter flid.

Problem was this... I'd not logged into my iTMS account!

Tried playing one of the flies in my Library, and it asked me to auth. As soon as I did that, I found I could copy the files onto my iPod.

All's well that ends well.
