Best way to blitz an NTFS partition?
Dual boot:
c: win2k on ntfs
e: XP on ntfs
Want to format c: for extra space removing win2k - whats the easiest way?
Cheers,
Simon.

First things first, you want to check which drive has the boot.ini file on it. My guess is that it might be on C:
If you just format C: you'll lose this file and might not be able to boot into XP.
So, make sure you can see invisible and hidden files on C:, check to see if boot.ini is on C: If it is, then I'd copy it onto e: and edit the info in the file to make sure it'll only boot into XP.
Once that is done, simply go into explorer, right click on C: and select 'format' and let it format the disk, you can even do a quick format if you want.
