Unhappy gfx cards

Right then, I'm getting really cheesed off with my current graphics card (a 256Mb Gainward 6800GT). It's a bug ridden pile of <insert swear word of choice>, which will only run 3d games for about 10 minutes before crashing. I know it's not a power or temperature problem. Looking around the forums / internet it seems that there are a great number of people having similar problems with this card, and it looks as though there may be some fundamental design problems with it

So, I was thinking of changing to a Radeon X800XT (Platinum) instead...

Anyone got any ideas as to where I could get one from. They seem to be rarer than hens teeeth at the moment....

Thanks,
Iain

Supply is supposed to ramp up by Xmas. If you are feeling brave(ish) then buy a X800 PRO VIVO and apply a Bios batch and overclock to make it run close to a X800 XT PE

Thanks, I did contemplate doing that, but I've just ordered a Sapphire ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition, (would rather buy the quicker model than try and overclock a slower one). Will just have to wait for a while for it to turn up I guess...
