My younger brother has appeared in a TV ad in Japan and sent the family the link however my mother isnt on broadband so is there a way of saving the vid to file ?

Its a protected stream - you need to set your internet to store the cached stream then take file from your temporary internet cache.

It's a stream, so saving the link won't do it. You need some software that will save the clip as it's being streamed to your media player.

I'm sure there was a thread about saving streams last week.
