Got a question, if you buy half-life 2 from say play.com dose it come with the counter-strike source, or can you only get that from steam? I still play the old CS via steam at the mo

You should get CS: Source with Retail HL2.
with Steam: Silver you get:
HL2
CS: Source
Day of Defeat: Source
Half Life: Source
and Valve's entire back catalogue

Ordered mine from Gameplay over a year ago and it's not arrived on release date.
Website said yesterday that it would be shipped by the 14th, checked today and it says it's on backorder. They better not have run out of stock.

I ordered mine from gameplay too, over a year ago. Checked into my account today only to find the order had been removed. So I just went to our local Blockbuster video and bought it there.
I'll bet a pound to a pinch of sh*t that Steam crashes tonight with fifteen billion people trying to access it simultaneously.

Played 15 minutes lunchtime (pre-loaded via steam).
I got as far as the working kids playground . Shame its not multiplayer the see-saw and roundabout look full of potential comedy moments.
Graphics are superb - excellent textures and the best facial expressions I have seen in any game. Only downside so far is the long loading times, but I suppose its to be expected for the huge amount of detail that's in the environment.
I won't be getting home until 9pm tonight... counting the minutes.
