Hi

I have some concern with the speed of my internet.

When downloading it veries from 12 /kbs to 600/kbs. A lot of the time it down loads at 50ish /kbs. I have a 512 connection and don't know why it's going slow.

Could any one help??

Is there an App that can tell you whats using my internet resource??

AFAIK it depends on the site you are downloading from some are good some crap

Is this downloading specific files, or just surfing? I'm assuming files 'cos otherwise you wouldn't normally know the speed. Download speeds can vary tremendously as they depend on the load on the server hosting the file. Popular files can have speeds even lower than that. There's a apeed test here - whenever your speed appears low, hit it. If the result is normal (about 46-470 is the best you will usually get) then it's a server problem.
