Can you display Sky digital on a PC screen ?

Anyone done this ?

Which cables, hardware did you use ?

I do this for recording to my pc hard drive then burning to DVD if theres stuff on sky I want to record. I use a hauppage PVR-250 video caputre card with a scart -> composite lead from the second scart output socket on my sky box.

djuk, thanks - so you have a composite IN on your Hauppage ?

Picture quality ok ?

Yep the Hauppage has a composite video in and phono video in so I use a lead which splits scart signal to the appropriate sockets on the back of the card.

Picture quality is pretty much perfect in mpeg2 so all in all a pretty workable solution
