Personally, I don't mind them delaying it in order to release a better product. I would prefer waiting a bit longer to buying a product that has been flawed in order to hit a marketing deadline. Software development takes time, and fortunately, IMHO, PD appear to be more concerned with perfecting the software than rushing it out to market.

Only reason it is delayed though is due to the language translations from US/Japan to European...... ( 13 translations required for Europe )

Personally, I'm BORED with the Gran Turismo series - they need a new lease of life. This one won't even have online play (they're planning to release an additional version GT4 - ONLINE ?) later in the year.
With the performance hit of crash modelling, we'll probably have to wait for the PS3 version for that.

I think the B-Spec mode in GT4 will be interesting - you get to be a race manager and have to give instructions your driver - so the game becomes more strategic.

There are some interesting new additions, but it will still lack the basic fundamentals of any racing simulation - crash damage/physics and proper AI.
I will probably buy it, just to look at the scenery in NYC, including Southstreet Seaport, one of my fave NYC places.
Forza is more promising at the moment.

Forza on the xbox has been put back too. looks like the beta testers said it sucked.

Who cares - great game originally but little has changed since. Project Gotham has knocked spots off it with the on-line play - GT is long, boring and, frankly, unrealistic in the current world. The only game left on the PS2 worth owning is GTA with Sanandreas due out. GT4 isn't worth fretting about IMO.
