Keyboard problem
I have borrowed a friends laptop and the keys on the keyboard print incorrectly, i.e., £ over the 3 is # and " over the 2 is @
Anyone know how to fix it in Windows XP

Regional and Language Settings in Control Panel are exactly the same as my PC
English (United Kingdom) and location United Kingdom.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've had this problem for a long time. If I need to use a £ sign, I have to find somewhere to copy it from, usually Word.
Edit: Regional & Language options sorted it out for me. Now, I wonder why I didn't look there six months ago!

Yes, all settings in word, Excel and control panel are identical to my PC, I think I checked everything I could think of.
I even stoped it in startup to see if I could notice anything in there, but no. I know I can find ways round the £ sign, but it is doing my head in everytime I try to type " I get @.
