Default Scoobynet's pants on my P900!

It just takes forever to load up on the phone's browser; using Opera as a browser is a bit more succesful as long as I hit 'stop' after each page gets to about 200k but keeps loading. I can then generally read them.

I have all gfx, animations & sound switched off.

Are there any other settings I could use as it is virtually unusable like this and I cant believe it nees to load up so much stuff for a text only page. Other forums I browse load quickly and cleanly - e.g RS246.com

Cheers

yep, same here. have you tried Netfront as a browser? I tried the demo but never tried scoobynet

have you seen the P910a firmware upgrade that is being discussed at the mo? some people ahve done it with great success. only downside is BT issues with some headsets. Saying that there is an annoncement tomorrow with some new news so this may be fixed!

I'm having a hard enough time trying to imagine what Scoobynets pants looklike, let alone what they would looklike with a P900 wearing them

I have IE5 on a P233 and Snet works fine. I can't see it being processor related. Do you have a lot of other downloads going on at the same time?

The phone is a smartphone.... almost as powerful as the PC you mentioned. it's a tech gadget so i think this would be the right place to ask.

Wasn't having a go mate just pointing out what was being asked

Think of it as a computer that can phone people and also take pics of the dog whilst playing him music

I think I'll ask webmaster about this then as It'd be great if it worked.

Thx

Check that the cache size in the settings is at max , ie 1000 kb . That sorted most problems for me ...
