Anyone tried it yet ?
Strangely they have the 22b in Steel blue ??
Blurred vision after impact, trees shake if you hit them, and leaves fall off
Quite a few decent cars in it too, looking at the screenshots
Im still into Richard Burns Rally at the moment tho, feel it has the edge on CM04
but then its on my PC, and I have my steering wheel, unlike CM04 on the Xbox where I only have my std controller
Why cant someone make a decent steering wheel for the xbox !!

I didn't even know until yesterday that there was 'another' Colin McRae rally out.
I automatically assumed because of the short release period between CMR 3 & 4 that it would be a while before the next one....
Richard Burns rally has to be the most 'realistic' of the rally games to date , have you tried playing CMR4 straight after Richard Burns.... makes CMR seem very very easy

Cheers Hank, I may just try the demo to see how it compares
I havent tried playing them back to back, as RBR is on my PC with a half decent steering wheel, and CM04 is on the Xbox with naff controller, so its too difficult to compare them
Im just about to borrow RBR for the Xbox, so I can then compare them side by side, but I still reckon RBR is the better of the two
and anyway its quite amusing to hear RB telling you to be careful as your in a 300bhp car
Pity no-one keeps reminding me of that when I get in my real car

£22.99 from Games Planet for Xbox:
http://www.gamesplanet.co.uk/?CLASS=...0951f5&AFC=S20
I have bought all 4 CMR so far since PS1, but wont be buying the 5th one - I tried the PC demo and apart from better graphics theres nothing new.
Need to try RBR when I get chance.

well I have a few results in
been playing CM04 & RBR on the xbox today, and on the PC
CM05 Demo wouldnt run on my pc
CM04 far easier than RBR on the xbox (with std controller)
CM04 far easier than RBR on the PC (with Logitech MOMO FF steering wheel)
RBR far better on the PC with a wheel, than on the xbox, and graphically better too

RBR on the PC with my MOMO wheel absolutely rocks but it is v hard.
If you want a proper rally sim, get RBR, if you want a arcade game get CMR.

i am planning to get it this weekend, although the missus may put a stop to it.
Anyone know when the next WRC game is out?

nice one mate, cheapest site i have seen so far.
Either going to order there or go into game as they have an offer. £10 off if you give them CM4 in return.
Its a busy few months in gaming world now, this is out, then wrc and grand theft auto in oct, then get away 2, and grand turismo by xmas. Looks like scoob might be waiting till the new year for some mods, i can see me sitting in the warm on the ps2
