Default Online store/Transactions

I run a local car website. At the moment, we currently sell stickers etc, and people will send in a cheque, or as we are mostly local, pay me in person. I was wondering what online payment systems are the best to use?

I looked at paypal, but the charges seem quite high, what other places do people recommend? it will start off small for the time being, but I see the online store selling more expensive items in the future. will also want to have some sort of fraud protection.

Thanks,

Christian

If you've got your own PDQ machine, try www.mals-e.com 'cause it's free

All 128 bit SSL etc etc

Punters enter all their details onto your shop, then you process them as a MOTO transaction through your PDQ machine. Best have a look at the website as I've had far too much Stella to give you a sensible explanation.

Take a look at http://www.protx.com/ as they have a few different transaction models. I've used VSP Server in the past and it works a treat.

Worldpay springs to mind. Again, charges may be high for small volume stuff.

yeah that is the problem, very small demand. I might just stick with cheques/cash.. just wanted to make it easier for the users
