Unhappy Palm M500

For some reason my M500 has started coming up with "Fatal Exception" all the time. I've pressed the reset thingy on the back but no joy.

Is is permenantly dead?

I had a similar problem with my Palm Tungsten when I'd got close to filling the internal memory. You could try removing some apps/files to see if that helps.

Wink

...or you could try a hard reset but make sure you do a back-up first as everything gets toasted. Good for clearing faults like yours, though.

Cheers

Yup, I'd also go with a hard reset.

Hold down the power button, then push the little reset button with a paperclip.

THIS WILL DELETE EVERYTHING OFF YOUR PALM!

Angry

Still comes up with the "Fatal Exception" box.

Fecking thing!

Any other ideas? (other than those involving a 12lb lump hammer)
