I'm at the end of my tether!! For a week now I have not been able to log on to www.lancer-evo.net It is the only site on the web I can't log on to. I have tried literally everything I know, I've been on to my isp(telewest) I've had the pc back to the shop still no luck. I've run a full registry cleaner, a spyware cleaner, an adware cleaner, but "NO FECKIN LUCK!!!" Please Please try to help if you can!!!

Sounds like its the websites end if its the only site you cant access???

Just a thought as i have encountered a problem like this in the past.
Do you have any part of the web site blocked as a pop-up? If so un-blocking this may help.

 

I don't think I have a popup on the site? I can't ping the site so it may be a server prob at telewest!!

Do telewest do that transparent proxy thing that NTL do? I had a mate who just couldn't access one particular site but all others seemed to work. He was on NTL and found a site which gave IP addresses for different "transparent" proxies. He tried a different one and everything came good for him.

Might be worth looking around to see if there are any self help type support sites for Telewest. I think the site my mate found was called something like NThell or similar.

 

Clear out your temp internet files, cookies and SSL state files...

Edit/ all found in IE under Options>Intenet Options.

 

Get somebody else with a different ISP and PC to try

if it doesn't work then website \ login problems

If it does then try same ISP and different PC

if that works then its the PC if not the ISP !

at least you should be able to elminate it from there
