Meridian / Mr Footlong - I blame u!
My *habit* is getting worse.
Note, now both TFTs are 1710Bs and the P4 3.2 is now a prescott version with the 9800pro, the AMD3500 has an Aopen 6800GT to work with..
Doom3 runs like a dog at 75fps 1280x1024 @ Ultra Quality with no Vertical Sync!
Thanks again

Got these scores in time demo 1 (D3) on the AMD/GT set-up
All are at 1280x1024 with NO AA.
High quality
with vertical sync = 51.5 fps
without = 71.0 fps
Ultra Quality
with vertical sync = 55.5 fps
without = 75.8 fps
Ordering an X800 pro next week i think for the p4 set-up.
Thanks again guys for all your help.

LOL, don't go down the expensive downward spiral that is high end pooter and modding hehe.
Not bad little machines ya got there
I have my X800XT PE now, but to be honest at 1600x1200 I can't tell any difference from my 9800 pro hehe.
Cheers,
Nick

Nice Nick, but I guess it won't be long before the XTPE is capable of much much more after you've mod'd it , I reckon
As for 'don't go down the high... ' - too late!!
