My favourite P2P app is eMule, which is an open-source app running on the eDonkey2000 (ed2k) network.
I can't see how discussing P2P apps can be seen as breaching forum rules P2P apps can be just as easily used for sharing non-copyright (such as Linux distros) as they can for your latest blockbuster or game. It's the use of the software that can be illegal, not the software itself.
