anyone use ministumbler with pocket pc etc?
whilst i dont want to discuss the very iffy aspect of wardriving as its illegal and a iffy topic to discuss
so im asking connection questions
i have ministumbler installed on my ipaq, driving around it finds all sorts of signals, a short drive up the shop just now found 15
some had padlock signs on them some amber lights some green etc
how do i physicly connect ? i think i enabled auto connect, but when i stopped at a green location and then clicked explorer or msn messenger it cant conect or find the webpage?
once a location is found do i have to stop it scanning?
how do i get online with it?
ie setting up my wireless lan wifi thingy on my ipaq according to the findings of netstumbler etc

Pay for your own broadband you parasite
Seriously, just finding a green site doesn't necessarily mean you will be able to connect via it.
But if you can you will need to let your computer know the details so it can join the network and then use their bandwidth. (I'm basing that on using NS years ago.)
And don't forget to chalk the site up, it is the law.
Cheers
