Xbox every time
I have both but my PS2 hasn't been on in over a year. I have a modded Xbox with 120GB HDD and a normal one. I use the normal one for Xboxlive (Best ever online play IMHO) The modded box is for playing my Mp3's /Mpeg's on my TV in the Lounge via my PC's HDD ( wireless media player )
you could go on all day about what is better, for me it's the Xbox hands down. If you want to modd it then you have an excellent machine, if not you've got the best console for games/live/graphics from the two. Project gotham 2 is one of the greatest games ever + Halo2 will be out in November.

yep - XBox all the way.
Mine's modded too. Got a partition on the PC with all my shared media/mp3s/photos etc. XBox media centre is brilliant for this type of thing
As the XBox is also on my home network, I can also access my 'proper' music files from the Mac in the studio.
Also, the XBox can run MAME (arcade stuff) - it's kin brill
BUT. It boils down to what games you want to play. I prefer what's available on XBox. The only title I miss is Gran Tourismo, but PGR & PGR2 are just as good (if not better! especially with Live, or XBoxConnect

I have both cos I was fed up of missing out on PGR2 etc, but love the PS2 for Pro Evo Soccer and the GT series.
You can get one for £100 ish now and its worth it - since getting the Xbox I have bought 4 or 5 games for it and none for the PS2

I quite fancy getting an xbox but i couldnt go without gran turismo or tomb raider, so if it was a toss up of the 2 it'd have to be the PS2.
