ipaq wireless config with wireless modem/router

ok i now am wireless at home on my laptop, seems a little tempermental but hopefully will resolve
i have a linksys wireless g modem / adsl router installed
how do i configure my ipaq 5450 which has built in wireless???
ive browsed the sections on it but it asks for **** loads of stuff:
ip address
subnet mask
default gateway
dns
alt dns
wins
alt wins

hmn well it seems ya can let the ipaq search for itself for network etc, it says connected and gives a signal strenghth of around 70 %
but if i try and open explorer or msn messanger they cant connect
has anyone any ideas?

ensure you have no router security on to start, or add your ipaq's mac address to the allowed list.
then check the network connections and you should see your router advertised.(advanced tab)
hold stylus on this connection and select connect.
thats all i had to do.
mind you, i'm using a netgear router and a 4150
BB
